Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 cup of chicken broth

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
  6. Add the thyme, oregano, and paprika and cook for 1 minute.
  7. Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  8. Place the chicken in the skillet, breast side up, and spoon the broth over the chicken.
